they work well for me. go them p.coated and hopefully will have them on in a day or 2.

Thanks for the picture Rocky. Looks like I may go with the 6". Looks like the 8" stick up too high for my taste. I would like them to flow with the tank a little better. Love your bike though. I have a new headlight coming too that looks alot like the one on yours, just chrome instead of black.

yea i like the looks of the 6" better also. i bought these used and couldn't pass them up. i also put a jackyll tank lift on to off set the height. send up some pics when you get your 6" ones on there.

I hear ya, can't pass up good deals. I just ordered a set of the black Hooker Troublemakers exhaust, so I guess the bars will have to wait for a bit. Got a deal I couldn't pass up.

Thanks Man... all bars are different... just make sure the welds are smoothed... if you're gonna leave them chrome... cause the ones with out smoothed out welds with start to rust.

Heres a old pick 9" rise and 3" pull with a 2" tank lift...

Looks good man. I love your bike!! I have a picture of it saved on my computer, along with others, for ideas. I am going to leave mine the way it is for now. I have some pipes and a new headlight on order for now. Did you PC the lowers or paint them? I like that look. How did you do your tank lift? I would also like to do that. Sorry if these questions have been asked before

lol... Thanks Buds but thats a old pick

Refuze... The tank lift is just to brackets to lift the front of the tank... Harley dealers can get it for you... I got mine from a friend. My lowers are painted and they they hold up just fine.

I think I could use the plasma table at work to cut some brackets. Anyway to get a close up of what they look like? Are they just oval with two holes in them? What kind of prep and paint went into painting the lowers. I think I will try that for sure. Any help will be great!! I also love the front fender. That will be coming up on my list soon....... Damnit, I told the wife I would lay low on the buying spree..LMFAO..

Nevermind, I found the tank lift and some pictures of different brackets. I think I can swing that. Still curious on the lowers though. Did you sand them, and if so, what did you use? What paint would be better to use there?
