Default my bike

here are a few pictures of my 03,can anyone tell me the widest tire I can put on without offsetting anything?someone told me I could squeese a 180 on it,is there any truth too this?thanks, Lee

I am not sure about the 180, but you should upload some larger pictures.

YEP. I have a 180/55/18 on my 01 Night Train.

thanks strange1,you have a smokin' bike there.what rear fender are you running and did you have to use a 5.5" rim?

5.5" rim and special hub so they say. 180/55/18 on mine as well.

Thanks alot for the coment. Yes mine is 5.5. As for the fender, Im not sure what kind it is. I found it on ebay, had it painted, and slapped it on.

how wide of a fender did you guys have to get,and I really didn't want to cut my frame horns off,but is that nessesary for a 180?thanks for the help, Lee

913 your frame horn are close to 7-3/8 to 7-1/2 as they very.I know you can get a 170 18 under there without cutting on a 4" rim but it is smaller than a 160- 16 which is the largest 16 with a 3-1/2" rim.When you get a wheel make sure it has the right off set for your year softy.This is a 160-16 on my 05.

back again,so a 170 18 actually measures smaller than a 160 16?also how wide is the rim on your bike,looks pretty stocky,thanks, Lee

8.5" wide is optimum but 9" fenders are cheap and easy to find. The horns have to go though. This is before I chopped it off again
