DB take the lock barrel out and take a dremal to the stem for the lock detent.If I had your ride I'd damn sure want to secure it anyway I can. Ace hardwares has a good selection of rubber bumpers Chuck.Probably Home D and Lowe's also.

Buddies ok he goes in for surgery today,plates screws etc. He's been on the couch since Sunday. Medical industry sucks, his insurance was giving him greif so he had to sit home w/ a broken wing til **** got sorted.

My steering lock hasn't worked for years! Never really worried about it because if someone DOES want the bike, they will get it one way or another. When I lived in another town, someone ripped the garage door off of a house to grab a Harley.......
As far as the mini rubbers...... I was messin with DB!
