I'm kinda liking the red for now.

Cam, the tank lift I made myself.

jcall, the tube covers that go between the trees are from Accutronix. I don't have any troubles with bumps,
just need to watch how far to lean when turning.

Story, I got a question about your tank lift set up, did you go under the gusset or drill through that plastic piece
and go on top of the gusset for that gas line that connects on the front of the tank.

why is that?

cant find those tube covers on the site either....

You just make a bracket with 2 holes in it, one on bottom one on top to lift tank like 2-3 inches and extend fuel line

yep, got a couple of short bolts with some acorn nuts.
Went to Napa for the fuel line and hose clamps. Home Depot for the nuts, bolts and piece of metal.
This is a 3" one I made a while back, It just didn't look right. Too high.
Don't think you'll need this much of a bend to them but you should bend them a little.
there is a kit out there for $25 or so.

Lundee- That shovel bob is sweet man Nice Work. I have been doing a lot of soul searching trying to figure out if I'd rather try and start a bobber from frame up or starting a Street Glide fund. I can usually stash a few buck here and there but I'll need a hefty lump to put down on a glide. Riding an having a radio just seems like the POO to me.
