speaking of credit card's - been looking at wheels

RC Compontents Eclipse Savage http://www.rccomponents.com/wheelsel...in_eclipse.htm

Opinions?

Don't know if I need to change rotors and belt pulley, I think it would be too wild with matching ones.

Was thinking 23" front wheel, is it possible to use the existing front fender and caliper?

Welcome CD! Nice ride!

Stock caliper will work, but kiss the fender goodbye........

Yah what Chuck said... and I've been hearing the guys in Hawaii telling me you need a 7 degree rake... I have a 3 degree on mine so I'll let you know when the 23 comes in how it works out???

No but i'm gonna try it and see what happens, it's gotta help. It's prob not as bad as I make out but it's not as smooth as the stock ride by far. For the look i'd do it again. But like I said I don't know how good the drop in springs ride to compare it.

I don't think so... Some guys just talk trash and had never done it themselves...
I don't see why I can't make it work with the 3 degree either... I'll keep you guys posted.

Story, are you planning on running a front fender or No? I'm gonna go for the 3* tree we had the big discussion about. I just think the zero looks less even tho I still can't confirm mine is raked at all. HD says no but whatever, maybe it won't make that much diff. I'm not gonna change the tubes or anything else.

Ahh, np - it can't be any closer than mine... and I have one size larger tire than you (90/90-21).

As long as you mocked it up correctly (and it looks like you did), just bolt it on after you get it back from paint and RIDE! The mistake most people make is not having the cord or hose taped all the way around the tire when test fitting. If it's going to rub, it usually happens at the center of the fender arc, where you can't see it.
