How was the rake kit install? Able to keep the steering neck lock?

The install was straight forward. The tough part is getting the stem out of the tree, I used a propane torch to heat the stem & used a socket to pound th stem out. Also the upper rubbed on the neck so I had to grind a couple thousand off & paint. If I was to do it again it would go smoother.
Unfortunately the new stem did not have a grove machined into it for the neck lock.
It dropped the front 1.75"
