Crossbones Ultra
Finished it yesterday and rolled it out for a nice ride, and just so happens to coincide with Michigan's repeal of the helmet law, so I celebrated both with a ride last night.
A few issues popped up with I did the custom in relation to the electrical system. When I decided to go with the Ultra Tour Pak I wanted to incorporate the brake lights and turn indicators in the pak as well. Seems when sitting at the light cars have this nasty habit of plowing right into ya! So I figured the added benefit of additional lights would be helpful in this.
But all I could do was just light them up, no further electrical assistance could be possible with the current Dyna-Softail electrical management system. I would have to upgrade to a FLH management box because (even at such a low amperage) the stock box wouldn't handle it.
Also this Tour Pak was installed with quick disconnects so I can run most of the time with the standard Heritage backrest and pad (matching the Mustang seat) which I will get pictures taken both ways in the future.
Speaking of pictures, sorry for the low quality, this was fresh out of the garage so I'm looking for a HOT model to pose with my bike and high quality pics will be coming, including the ones for the rear fender. Sorry I didn't think of it till I was reviewing them this morning.
Yes it has the Fat Boy Low (2011) rear fender on it, with the Street Glide (2012) rear turn indicators. I chose it because there is no tail light anymore, just the two light that incorporate the stop light and running in them. I opted for this because of the clean look it had on the fender.
Okay, here it is my Heritage-Fat-Bones-Ultra-Street Glide
P.S.- Sorry about the current Model, he was just so excited about all this he wouldn't let go of the bike... ha ha ha

quick question
I love the luggage system that you've installed. I was planning on doing something similar but I'm having a hard time finding the luggage mount. Could you tell me what the part number is?

The luggage rack is a slightly modified Motherwell's Solo Rack, that mates up to the Mustang Solo passenger pillion bracket.

My o9 x-bones
I'm still working on this thing... And since I'm doing most of the work.. It's taking me longer then i thought... But here'e how it's looking so far... I also have the detachable windshield, and working on getting bags that'll work with my look... Not as much mods as most of you guys, but I wanted to keep the orig crossbones look with just a bit of me in it...
