Hi Guys..

I want to remove the alarm siren on my 2005 Deluxe, does anyone know where it is located or how I can isolate it without affecting the immobilisor?

Thanks!

It's located in front of the plastic rear fender. Remove the plastic lower rear fender (two bolts) and unplug the alarm system. On the rear fender, there's a plastic extention forward of the rear fender. Remove the mounting bolts and unplug your alarm siren. Alarm Siren is plug and play.

The Roadhouse Pipes have the fles pipe heat shields over the first part of the head pipes. Then the horizontal portion & collector are under a chrome heat shield, then the chromed repackable muffler with tip. I wrapped the head pipes with header tape to reduce heat for me,& get even tanning of the stainless head pipe flex covers. The header tape also reduces/eliminates the rattles you would get from the flex pipes against the head pipes.

Cheers,
Luxe

i started with a 95" kit with CNC port and polished heads, 590 gear driven cams, 50mm throttle body, adj. pushrods, hydrosolid lifters, an efi race tuner, a kuryakin hi five air cleaner, and a 2 into 1 black thunderheader exhaust, thats the main build up of what i did...

Default Fishtail Exhaust

Stratplexi,
Can you provide some info on your exhaust? I apologize if you already have, but I didn't see anything in the thread. How is the sound,as compared toV&H longshots or other long pipe? Thanks.

The exhaust are Samson Fishtail Drags although they have a baffle. The volume level is similar to VH longshots but they sound different. They have the typical fishtail crack to them but toned down a little due to the baffles. They are offered without the baffle but I prefer the baffled sound. I really like them and love the old school look...I think they suit the bike perfectly.

What is the typical fishtail crack? Is it a tone, or is the crack a inherint issue with the fishtail exhaust?
