Those bars where the absolute first thing I did, coming off of sports bikes I was a little nervous as to how it would be riding with them. Now I think they feel short, but I couldnt see going taller at the same time. Ive been tempted to wrap my pipes and leave the last like 16" exposed for the chrome look but not sure on that yet. Taking it easy on what I do to that bike til winter hits because I ride it every day to and from work in LA. Although Im thnking of having the seat redone like SFcmo did or going with a mustang seat. I like my bar on the back of my seat and the basket weave too so thats leaning me away from the mustang seat. You notice a huge difference in comfort SFcmo?

Tell me why I shouldn't trade my 07 Deluxe in for an 07 Road King Classic. Thinking about it and will loose 4K in the process.
I simply can't breath and get a lower back ache on the Deluxe. BUT I can't stand the constant shaking with the Touring Models.

too crouched over/too close to the gas tank - and Im only 5'10"!!!
don't get me wrong, Im a sloucher when I ride, but I like to do the stretch forward slouch. Like if you were riding a Night Train. As it is, Im curled up like a scared armadillo.
anyone recommend a skinnier seat that I can scoot back on thereby enabling myself to lean forward by default??? Maybe drag bars on a Deluxe????

no, not a huge difference. That's if you're talking about the seat. It's better since I reworked it though.
