forward controls were pretty straight forward (no pun intended)
same bolts as the footboards. You will need a new kickstand bracket since the stock one mounts on the footboard.
I also replace the rear brake line with a braided one. The stock one worked but I had to bend it to get it to work and it didn't look to pretty after i was done.

cruise arms purchased and installed just now. They're greeeeaaaat.......adjustments up and down, etc, etc. With the handlebars adjusted down, seat reworked and these cruise arms-------------the bike feels good. This is a double post (posted below in the softail section; but I had to post a pic here)........BTW-----my pans (floorboards) have been changed; so the cruise arms fit great.

Retro, I've seen posts here and there about removing them; but I'm not sure I know how or am comfortable doing it. How did you remove yours and what did you use. Maybe you can provide me with some info and I'll remove them this weekend. I'm just afraid the paint will come off the fender

To remove the reflectors:
Get a blow dryer and heat the reflector and use some fishing line or dental floss to work behind it and loosen it. Any residual glue you can remove with goo gone and heating with the dryer. I removed mine with no problems whatsoever. Just take your time and keep working the heat and floss.

Time!
Patience!
Fishing Line!
3M Adhesive remover.
The reflectors have an adhesive backing and you just want to make sure to keep the fishing line between the adhesive and the reflector, start on one end and use a back and forth motion to remove the reflector from the adhesive. Once the reflector is removed, I soaked the adhesive with the 3M remover and gently used a rag to remove the adhesive.
No marks whatsoever, just don't let the fishing line touch the paint. The reason I didn't use the hair dryer is because it was the dead of winter here and it just never got hot enough, but I here it also works well.
Take your time, it's not difficult.
