its pretty simple, you get the standard Nacelle headlight kit that would fit a Haritage. HD will tell you it will not fit, but it will, you do need to cut a couple of little groves out for the front turn signal wires.

Default FLSTN fenders on a FLSTC

Please excuse me for crashing the thread, but I may be contributing pictures in the near future. You see, I am having my '08 Heritage Classic painted, and I want to replace the fender tips front and rear with those for a Deluxe. Also the front fender skirt. I like the looks of the slimmer Deluxe style much better than the Classic. What do y'all think of this, will they even fit, and would you want pictures, or should I stick to my own damn thread? Ha! I assume I'll have to weld the classic's holes up and drill new ones. Ok, let me have it...

I'm not an expert but I don't see why it wouldn't fit. Before you go welding up holes get the Deluxe trim and check hole placement. They may be the same.
As for looks. I like the 'Luxe trim better.

I would expect them to mount to the same holes. I had an extra set of fenders from a Heritage and I seem to remember that everything looked the same on the front fender. Get the pieces and try them out before you start modifying your fender.
