I am running the quiet baffles also and from what i read here most are. I am hanging on to mt stock pipes just in case i have to go through inspection if i get tagged for noise. I am in CT and every year the mayor of the town sends out a letter about loud pipes. they have also bought a couple of noise meters that measure so if they use it your dead in court. before the meters all you had to do was plea mot guilty and they would drop the case they would have no way of proving it

I can't decide whether to install the V & H true duals or dual exhaust head pipe kit HD#65056-01 which was (is) standard equipment on a FLSTS Heritage Springer. I like the looks of the exhaust head pipe kit better than the V & H but I don't know what mufflers I can use besides HD mufflers.I also like the looks of the V & H fishtail caps but I don't like the sound with them on.
I need to be pushed in one direction or the other so any advice on either exhaust would be appreciated.

It really depends on your priorities. Stock Harley head pipes with cycle shack slip-ons (or some other good quality slip on) will make more power. But the VH have a cleaner look. You can run VH mufflers or probably any slip on with the VH head pipes. Fishtails are optional and look good but will cost you some peak power due to their irregular shape. Now be advised, your dealer will tell you different (parts counter) and so will others who are using a seat of pants dyno. A real dyno will show that fishtails do not perform equal to standard shaped pipes, especially on motors that have high performance long duration cams. You can see from my sig pic, I am running fishtails. I have decided the looks are more important than peak power...at least for now. Best of luck...

I just got done (not really) changing ALL the leather on the bike. New Ironbags Saddlebags and Windshield Bag, New Chilhowee Fender Bib and Floorboard fringe and New Corbin seat and back rest. Just wanted to show it off.

SlotBike;
Your Scooter looks AWESOME!
I am a big fan of the look you have...retro-Springer-Indian-ish.
The bags you have are among the best I have ever seen!
In my opinion, one of the finest rides on the site.
But...as you can see by my bike...I might be a little one-sided

DELUXELATEM I am sorry. I don't know about the race tuner, but welcome to the forum! You have to send me Belgian beer before you can post any more! (And I don't want Stella) Just kidding.
