Damn, ProStreet, you're right on, that IS Lakeshore HD. They place is killer and even with only 30% of their normal used inventory, they still had more than Woodstock or McHenry (obviously).

Hi everyone! I have spent the last two days reading through every post in this section. What a bunch of beautiful bikes! I am getting an 08 Deluxe in about 4 weeks. I have not seen anyone with Rinehart exhaust on here. Is this something the dealer is trying to sell me or are the V&H Longshots a better deal?

 

there good pipes but loud i do not need the headaches of getting stoped and having to go through state inspection. they are now using meters in my area to detect if the pipes are legal

 

Kury makes some boards that are about half of normal size. You might check them out. They do look kinda modern though, and I don't see your bike fitting that description. You'll just have to take a look.

Well actually, the wife and I went for a short ride today. It's only 36 out, but with no wind and sunshine it was really nice out. This was also the first time I've ever had a passenger on my bike and this is the first time my wife has ridden a Harley, so it was extra fun for both of us.

I'm also looking to possibly buy the Vance & Hines true dual pipes with the Fishtail tips. I see a few of us Deluxe guys have them and I like them better every time I look at your bikes. How easy are they for me to put on myself?

 

I put them on, they were a good fit and went together nicely. Still waiting for the fishtail tips.
