I have an 07 deluxe and want to put the locking rigid bags and a detachable backrest on it. can anyone tell me what hardware kit I need.

Check out the thread that I started regarding the backrest - has all the info including part numbers. I used to have the HD rigid bags - you don't need any hardware other than what comes with them.

I have a question on the Harleybags; I noticed some have a support bracket that runs from the foot peg to under the bag. Some have it, some don't. This is supposed to help with excess weight in the bags. Is it necessary? Thanks - Steve
