Iused the progressive kit that gets pressed into the shock. I thought I would save some $$$ since I had the shock...but no.....look at the burnout kit.

If you can afford the air, go for it. It must be nice to just pump your bike up then down

good luck!

Calin:

I LOVE the look you created with the painted frame!

I looked at you photobucket link and saw a couple other things that I like. Frist, who makes the nacelle cover for your headlight? Do you have the p/n ?

What seat is that, a badlander from a softail?

Any input would be great!

Thanks,

-Denis

T-Rat,
We're on the way to the Laughlin River Run, my buddy that's changing out the plate is getting it done thru Kurykan direct at the event, he has a apt. first thing friday to change out the plate and do a few other things. I will take pics as soon as its complete.

You may want to check this stuff out;

this is the stuff he's getting installed,
07Deluxe:

I like the curved plate mount, but what about that tombstone tailight you showed, is it an aftermarket? I noticed it doesn't have the plate light window on top. Do they make a setup for the deluxe?

In reply to the Brake Pedal

After trying about 4....I ended up with the extended pedal from Kuryakin, it fits my setup perfect.

In reply to the Nacelle

It is the Harley one made for the Softail. You will have to make some changes to get the passing lights /windsheild to fit.

Also Harley recommends a hardware kit for 49.00. I didn't use any of it and it probably won't.

these comments are if you are putting it on a Deluxe, other FL Softails may be the same but I can't say.

I had to grind the top section of the passing lights about 1/4 inch for it to fit.

The windshield will need to be cut. They give you a templete in the kit, I haven't done that yet. (weather perfect in Charlotte)

It also looks like I will have to mess around with the detachable windshield mounting setup, it doesn't look like it will fit.

I DO NOT have the detachable windshield made for the Deluxe, it is Harley but I don't know which one (e-bayed)

Just some things to keep in mind.

Also if you have a trim ring on your headlight it will not fit, you will need to buy the one for the touring models

The seat is the Young Guns from Corbin

Really dig those bags, what docking kit did you use? Man do those bags look good. How is the set up with the sissy bar, I already have the detach sissy bar installed.

This is a first for me. Recently traded my '05 Deuce for an '07 Deluxe because I wanted a better setup for longer rides. Anyhow, I'm almost done, with a chrome front end, chrome control levers, nostalgic short tinted windshield, nostalgic grips, nostalgic driver and passenger footboards, V&H Tru-Dual exhaust, H-D detachable bags, and backrest that I modified with a Road King compact pad, and I'm waiting on a Saddleman seat. REALLY like the difference in handling, but I need to stiffen up the ride a bit. Attached are photos both dressed and stripped (about a two minute job).
