Pipes look cool. Can I ask what kind they are? Thinking of going dual fishtail or 2-1 like yours.

Looks great on your bike.

Hey gk2410,

Nice ride you have there! How are you liking the V&H pipes? Did you install them yourself? Did you go with the quiet baffles? I have ordered & recieved the same set, but with the fishtail tips. I was wondering what performance changes you noticed with the install? What other perfomance mods you have.

Cheers,
Luxe

gez45 I got the seat and brackets from a company called "Justified Defiance". They advertise in Street Chopper magazine and carry alot of old school type items. They also sell the seat brackets, however they are not a direct bolt on, they require some modifications to fit the newer softail frame. The battery cover I make from from galvenized steel that I got from Home Depot.

vonzipper.. I have to agree with you, as the changes you've made really catch the eye, .. at least mine! Maybe I've missed the post, but can u share any info on the tombstone tail setup that you've installed? And could you provide insight to the way you mounted your lic plate?
thanks,
-zz

First pic of the Deluxe. I just finished installing 1 1/4" HD narrow beach bars. Had to change the risers because the bars aren't necked down to 1" in the center. Used HD risers. I thinkHD are the only ones making 1 1/4" risers. All factory cables were used. The only issues was the brake line is a little tight. I had to disconnectthe 2 mounting pointsfrom the rear upper fork cover. I can still turn lock to lock with no problem though.I had to get 1" longer riser bolts and the hardest part (time consiming)was lengthening the switch wiring for internal wiring. Routing the wires through the bars is not hard at all.

Next up is a lowering kit for the rear. Anyone have a linkfor the Burnout Cycle kit? I already have the lowering stud but it looks like it is barely longer than the factory one once it is screwed into the shock.
