I bought it used, so I don't know. I saved $4,000 over the cost of a new one and am putting that money back into it. Motor mods coming up this winter.

Well 4k gets you a pretty good motor upgrade.Thats something i will look at doing down the track.I have just worked out which one to get but its summer here in Oz so too much good riding weather at the moment to have the bike off the road.

Maybe when i go on a holiday next year i will put the bike in for the motor upgrade.

I'm not putting all that money in the motor. A good bit if it has already gone into glamour mods, chrome, white walls, lowering, new seat, new fat bars & riser, etc. I did spend around $400.00 on a new Mikuni 42MM carb and what a difference that made. I was going to do a 95" kit with cams, but I have reconsidered and decided to just do a S&S 510 Gear driven set of cams. I have been told I will get 20 HP and that should keep me happy for a while.
As to who’s doing that work, it will be my indy guy in the wheel chair. He's become my buddy over the last months and is responsible for what my bike looks like today.
Here’s what she looked like right after I bought her this spring:

Quite a transformation there Marsh. You certainly have done a good job on her.

But you know the story,it never ends. You go to put one small thing on and that leads to three other things.I love getting a part in the morning and i look forward all day to going home, getting in the garage, icey cold bottle of beer and putting the part on.Sad but true.

But hey you wouldnt swap it for quids.I love putting little bits on here and there and just personalising it.

Ride safe ....

O i forgot, finally got the bullet indicators with the smoked lenses but that bulb is far too orange.Managed toorder some clear coated ones so that will do the trick hopefully.

Also waiting on the detachable docking hardware so the bags will go on.

Thanks Moggsey. Might be interesting to see pictures of you cool scoot before you started gettting creative.
I love the detachable feature of my bike and I think you will also.
I recently cut down my windsheild which I have never used because it was too tall and I don't like them anyway, but now that it's winter I may ride with it more often.
