RE: Heritage Pictures
I'm 5' 10" also. My hands are positioned a little more than shoulder width apart and lower than the stock bars had them before, the tops of my hands are turned just a little outward (not quite parallel with the top of my forearms),but not too much that's it uncomfortable, my arms are notextended fullyand I do sit upright. Now, I do have the rider's backrest on my Mustang seat and it's adjustable forward/back and I can lean back and still ride comfortably. To date, the bars are the best mod I have done to my ride. Even better than the Mustang seat.

Thanks Brian. That is pretty much what I was looking for. A good description. I have Fat Boy bars on now that took a couple ofdays a few hundred miles to get used to. Now they feel pretty good but I think something like yours might be just the ticket, to use a phrase from my grandfather. What distributor. did you use?

RE: Heritage Pictures
I ordered them directly through Wild 1. Check this out though. Wild 1 has some bars on sale that have "blems" (imperfections) in them. When I received mine, they had taken a marker and circled the blem so that I could see where it was. It was the smallest imprefection and it was underneath the left part of the bars. Once I removed the marked circle, I had some difficulty seeing the blem. Here's the linkto their discounted/blem barshttp://www.wild1inc.com/specials.html Just to give you an idea of what I saved, the WO518's retail for $204.95 and I paid a little over $150.00 (after shipping costs) for my "blem" 518's. Ask to speak with John, he was VERY helpfulin getting me the right bars for my ride.
