Moggsy:
Great Lookin Wheels! Are they 80 or 100 spoke, Radial Laced? I am going to put custom wheels on mine next but I am thinking 80 spoke cause I don't think I could get my pudgy little fingers in between the spokes on 100 spoke wheels to clean em! White walls look awesome as well, do you clean them often? I'm looking at Americam Wire Wheels, they claim that they seal the spokes & you can run tires without tubes in them. A great advantage if you get a flat on the road, quick plug, then change it at the next opportunity. I've been stuck on the road waiting for help with a flat in the past! I am going to travel to Arizona this spring & there is a lot of desert between here & there, I surely don't wanna be stranded. Anyhow, do you have any tips about custom wheels you could pass on to this ol' dude?
Thanks, Lures

My wheels are fat daddy 50 spokes radially laced. They are apparently made by Ride Wright Wheels but take it from me you need to run tubes.Had a flat tyre last week, replaced both tyres and could not run tubeless even though the website says they are sealed and can run tubeless.Ideally would love to run tubeless but thats not going to happen.I dont know anyone who has spoked wheels of any description running tubeless.
If you want to run tubeless go for a custom wheel like a PM .
The whitewalls get cleaned after every few rides as i have new brake pads and i am getting a bit of brake dust at the moment.Pretty easy to clean though.

Trying to survive a winterthat just doesn't seem to want to end, and going absolutely stir crazy with cabin fever I figured I would say hello and post a pic of my Heritage Softail Anniversary #3723 of 5000. Sitting parked in my garage in Ontario Canada.

grzly- that bike is great looking. I personally love the look of whitewalls and the hubcap delete kit. As for cleaning spokes, i just uses a small rag and either mothers mag and aluminum polish or White Diamond metal polish, they both seem to protect andthe grime wipes off alot better. Also, i wish i could see what your picture shows for weatherinstead of all this snow!
