Here are a couple pics of mine. A few changes made recently and I'll post pics once the weather turns here in Michigan and I shine her up nice.

New pics will have:

Painted Dash
Painted Horn Cover (or relocated if I decide to)
Chrome Cam Cover
Chrome outer Primary cover

Hopefully:

Painted Fender Struts
SE Heavy Breather
Tri-Bar Taillight
Smoked Signals

I'm hopefully ordering the last three this week.

Mojo-

Those aren't V&H Shortshots, they'rs Samson BGIII Slashers. BUT, they're f***in' awesome. Loud enough, low enough, perfect harley sound.

Yeah, It's crazy how fast everything adds up. Sometimes I think I should've bought a Custom so I didn't have to pay for all the chrome. Oh, well, Love my bike and won't ever get rid of it. I'm sure I'll buy some additional bikes but will always keep my first.

I’m starting to install a chrome engine kit on my ‘06. I have the 3 easiest pieces on now, primary, cam cover and tranny side cover. J&S lift coming this week so I can install the rocker box covers next weekend, “if” it rains.

A few of us have done the rocker boxes as well, it's not too bad.If you need help we'll talk you through it. The lifter coversare pretty tedious just because you can only turn the bolts a tad at the time. Make sure you doone cylinder at a time, finding TDC each time as well.

For 3 grand you would've gotten the $700 chrome engine kit and a lot of stuff you'd eventually change outanyway. I figure the only thing I didn't get was the black motor.......and hey, the SE's are silver powdercoated.....right? Heck, save money where you can.......[8D]

Good point. As I said, I wouldn't trade my FXSTI for anything. I figure being only 22 when I bought it, I got a hell of a bike.
