Bought my 06 Softail Standard in June from a buddy. I added the engine guard on the before pictures, but the after is all my doing, including a big bore.

Really nice bike. I've got a 2006 FXSTI in Fire Red. I really like the saddlebags and I was wondering who made them. They look like the bags from LeatherPros but I wasn't sure. Also were the turn signals moved at all? I hope to add some bags to mine once I decide which ones I want.

 

The bags were bought by the previous owner at the dealership although they aren't HD. I'll check on the manufacturer the next time I'm in the dealership. I added the studs to the bags to match my mustang seat. The turn signals had to have an extension added so I could get the bags off and on.

My next project is to add the aux front lights and move the turn signals to the tree.

Sounds great to me. I'd appreciate the info. about the bags. Those look great on the bike and are just what I'm looking to put on mine.

 

The bags are from www.leatherpros.com . I was at the leather shop having the studs put on when the installer came out and was gushing over the way they mount and the mounting pegs. He really liked the set up and thought that they were the best around.

I've had very good luck with the bags. They have the support already installed so they won't sag.

Thanks for the name of the manufacturer. Those are the bags I'm thinking about getting for myself. I'm just waiting for the "approval".
