I see your clutch cable looks just like mine. I have a new night train clutch cable that I need to install very soon. I have noticed that my clutch is getting harder to pull, I am hoping the new cable fixes this. I am pretty sure it will. Anyway the bike looks very nice.

Whilst not a softail standard I have essentialy the same bike as you....

My 05' Night Train clutch pull was brutal. The dealer that did my 95" build put the SE heavier clutch spring in the bike and that combined with an aging cable made for a tough ride around town.

I bought a Magnum Chromite clutch cable as the inner cable is coated with a plastic teflon infused substance??.

Whilst installing the new cable I also added the Burly easy pull clutch ramp and kept the siffer SE spring in place.

Result? Clutch pull is now a 1 or 2 finger casual affair. It pulls so easy now I cant believe I rode without it.

An easy install and an easy pull!! These things are like $15 bucks and a good coated cable is around $80.00. Cheap route for easy pull happiness.

Thanks for the info, CHAZMANIAN. I have the new Night Train clutch cable from the moco but I will get one of those clutch ramps. I think between the brand new propper length cable and the ramp I'll notice a big difference in the pull. I am also going to lube the cable well before install. Thanks again for the info.

More to come...these are just the fun pictures. I don't get to see the bike like this often.
