Been on the site for afew weeks now, finally found a bike. I brought a 2006 FB original except for SE exhusts ect. Wont be like this for long though, but living in Sweden and with the costs of spare parts I wont be doing everything at once. This is my first HD after riding Ducati´s all my life, and I am loving it

I'm in Spain and the price of spares/accessories here is; spit the coffee out.

Do yourself a favor and order all accessories directly from the States. Zanotti's, ( http://www.zanottimotor.com ) Chicago HD ( http://chicagoharley.com ) both do 20% off the HD website prices. Postage via USPS, pay your import taxes, here they're 5%, Sweden is probably about 20%, but you'll pay less than half of what they charge in Europe.

I've done it with everything. Saved a fortune over European prices.

Kuryakyn are good too...... http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.asp

Woah, that's a lot. Well, do yourself a favor and go to your local dealer and price 3 items. Anything, say Toolbox, footpegs and a chrome cover. Then just do a simple calculation.

I guarantee your dealer is gonna be twice the price. Here in Spain, they are over twice the price.

Oh, and of the 7 or 8 packages I've received via USPS (U.S. Postal Service) I've had to pay tax on one package. The rest just got through.

Now if you have it sent via UPS, FedEx or DHL, you pay customs automatically. Plus it's a lot more expensive.

Worth a phone call, especially if you're going to be doing a lot like you stated.

Thanx Mayfair, it is pretty damn comfortable. It was already on the bike when I got it and the closest I found is on the HD site... http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US. The passenger backrest is sold separately (of course).
