My '96 Fatboy, with the big tanks it's wide, low and Black. Currently for sale, I'm really going to miss it. Went for a ride today and have second thoughts about letting it go......

Thanks guys. Yes, the 6 gallon tanks really make the bike, dwarf the stock 4.2 gallon tanks. I'll hate to see it go, but I just don't ride enough these days to justify 2 bikes.

That is a sweet looking fat boy there. Could I ask what you did to those wheels to get them looking like that? They are super polished!!

They are chromed stock wheels. Clean up perfectly in about 30 seconds with Windex. You can get them with shiny centers also, but I prefer the textured look with shiny edges. This sale process has REALLY been disappointing. I've had virtually zero interest in the bike. Stuck it on Ebay (which is flooded with FB's) and received 1 bid last week and 1 bid so far this week. At this rate I'll just keep it.

Yep, folks seem more interested in the new bikes. You don't hear much in the way of EVO's. Even the guy at my dealer is always impressed with my bike. Says he gets tired of all the Twin Cams.

Heck, just be happy they're giving you a reason to keep it, that thing is beautiful.

Who chromed your wheels for you? They look sharp on that bike. How much are you asking for your fatty? How many miles?

They were a chrome exchange at my local dealership when the bike was new. I think like $300 each when the bike was new. I hated the original wheels, all I did was clean and polish them, and the next day they needed it again. These are virtually maintenance free. I completely detail the bike each time I ride it, the wheels look perfect in about 60 seconds with a little Windex. I'm new to the forum, not sure I'm allowed to post an Ebay link, the auction ends tonight at 11:52 PM EDT, you can search Fatboy and sort by ending soonest. Thanks for the complements guys, I didn't mean this to be a classified ad. LOL.
