Default What should I ask fo my facory Crossbone wheels?

Im buying a set of aftermarket wheels now that my factory tires are due for their first change. Rims are in great shape and have about 7K on em. I see lotsa folks lookng for them for other bikes, but didnt know what they actually sell for. Thanks guys!

Nothing, they are useless. Just send them to me.

Ask the parts guy for price of new, then cut it in half. It's a starting spot.

I tried following that logic.

I was told that the rear wheel retails for $600. I've offered it up for $300 + shipping. Everyone wants it but no one wants to pay that price and I keep getting some really low ball offers. I've just decided to hang on to mine and hopefully come up with a trade offer for the wheel I want since I am looking to replace it with a narrower stock wheel off of another Softail.

I paid $260 shipped for mine. I thought that was a fair price.

In case I neglected to mention it in the PM I sent you yesterday, I would trade you a 17" X 4.5" black with stainless spokes rim that matches yours for your 17X6 rim that matches mine. What size tire do you want to mount? Pirelli lists recommended wheel size of 4.5" for a 140 (5.5"wide) - 160(6.25"wide) tire. Your 200 should be around 7.75" wide now. There are only two 180(7" wide) tires out there that are "approved" for use with my present 4.5" wide rim and I would like to go to 200 safely.. The smallest "approved" tire to go on your present 6" rim is a 190...... Interested in a trade? My rim is perfect, is yours?

In fact, I would rather just trade my black loop only for your black loop only. That way we can re-lace the spokes to hubs we know will fit right on with no funny business. Let me know. I'm doing this project one way or another. I'm in Florida too. Maybe we can save on shipping if we are close enough....

Let's not hijack this thread from the OP. I'll note your info down and get back to you. In the meantime, here is the link to my post and we (as well as anyone else interested in a trade can go here): https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...ear-wheel.html

Thanks,

Skeez
