I am interested in the kit. However, you said it did not fit your 2010 Fatboy? Can you tell me what was the issue you ran into with the fitment? I am looking for one of these for my 2008 Crossbones which essentially has a Fatboy rear end (especially since I replaced the fender with that of a Fatboy). I don't mind about the chrome blemish that you mentioned as I intend to have it powder coated black.

The mounting bracket did not work with my 2010 Fat Boy. Sorry, I don't know about a Cross Bones, that's why I listed what's on the label about fitment... The so called blemish would be hard to find, but I have to mention it.

Okay thanks. I had to ask because you did list the fitments which includes '00 and later FLSTF which I would have assumed to include a '10 Fatboy. It's often difficult to really know based on the label if one H-D part will or won't work on a certain model. The fitments listed are often based on the bike being stock.

Thanks anyway.

The fitments statement was off and I have no idea what Harley says 00 and later FLSTF means. I did measure the bracket and it might help. The top mounting holes on my Fat Boy measures 3-3/4" and this bracket measures 2-1/2". Those are finger print smudges on the chrome in the pictures.

Bump...

The box says fits '00 and later, that's what was confusing!
