I have a 06 softail standard with the cast rear wheel. I am looking to change it to a spoke style wheel looking for chrome. Thanks

 

The only place I know of that you can get a 17" X 6" spoke wheel is hdwheels.com.

 

HDWheels is a good place to start, also try Ride Wright Wheels.

The widest 17" wheel you can put on your Softail Standard is a 17x6.25 with a 210/50-17 tire without doing any modifications.

What size is the crossbones rear wheel? I have a friend looking for the same thing.

The crossbones wheel can be used on the '06 but the wheel bearing has to be changed from metric to standard and I think there are some other modifications that have to be made as well. Do a search on the forum to look for some threads about using that wheel on the '06.
