New, never used, includes rear mounting tab.

Purchased to modify for a custom project but it isn't going to work for my purposes.

Got any idea how this would work with the Stock seat on a Deluxe?

The current Pillion has "forks" that "capture" the solo seat mount on the rear. Looks like this one would have to "screw" to the solo seat as described.

 

Just checked the Mustang catalog. Looks like this is for 2000 - 2006
Softails (standard rear tire) that already have a Vintage Solo.

Doesn't look like i can make it work and look right w/o the Mustang solo.

^^^ Yes, this appears correct. I purchased it for the fact that it had three mounting tabs (screw to fender type) since I am doing a custom. But later decided to go another direction with the seat/fender....
