V&H Straightshot HS Slip On exhaust.

Do these V&H slipons mount to the "stock" head pipes? and do they use the stock (Deluxe) muffler mounting bracket? Is the passenger footpeg mounting affected?
How much louder than stock? removable baffles?
Any pics, Installed on Deluxe?

Yes, they mount to the stock head pipes. The passenger footpeg is not affected. I'd say they're a fair bit louder than stock, and sound much better than stock, and yes, removable baffle. See attached pic.

Just a couple more ?? Are the heat shields included? Is the sound a deeper rumble or more of a louder blat-blat? and if you don't mind me asking, why are you selling them?

Heat shields are included. This exhaust has more of the "potato-potato-potato" rumble. Its louder than stock, but has a good tone. V&H Quiet baffles would fit as well. I put V&H true duals on my bike so dont need them anymore.

 

bump for a great deal on slip ons

i have these on my crossbones they sound awesome and yes they are loud if you remove the head pipes and plug the crossover tube it will sound even better..i did it to mine and the bark out the pipe is way stronger and the low end torque has increased since installing these slip ons
