just a insite to your bike,i thought all 07s came with a black oil tank, i had never seen one with the chrome version.i had mine painted to match mine

 

Yup it was when i first got it. The bike went back for a warranty motor at 10k miles after I had it for about 9 months due to an oil pump failure. While it was there I asked if the warranty covered the paint peeling off the oil tank and they said yes. Then they said they could put a chrome one on it and I'd only have to pay the price difference. It cost me $60 to have it replaced with the chrome tank I was very pleased
