iv been checking and i cant find anything that will tell me if the tach will work on my 08 softail custom iv been all through the harley parts book and for some reason all the tachs just go up to 06 then there all mounted in the custom dashes .

 

Look at the back of your speedo if there is a four wire plug with one wire not being used its the same as mine. you hook up black to ground red to switched positive and pink to the unused spot on the speedo plug.
