Default 06 FXSTChromed rear wheel 17x6 200mm

Updated 6/11/09

SOLD!

NOW READY TO SHIP!

425.00 shipped. Wheel is just about perfect. Brake rotor which has very little wear is included. Bearings are still in the wheel with less the 2500 miles on them, no need to replace as they are like new. I'd rate it a 9/10 easily.

Updated pics taken today of the wheel & rotor.

I got the wheel from Chrome Pros Plating in Corpus Christie, TX, in Jan., 08 & ran it until now. http://chromeprosplating.com/ I just got a nice deal on a blade rear to match my front & it will be here next week. Baring any changes, if the new wheel (slightly used) wheel comes in fine I will be swapping it for the stock chromed wheel & it will need a new owner. It was a 5 step chroming process & looks amazing but I won't be able to give a full description until I take it off. If anyone wants dibs just PM me or post it here & we'll talk when I get the new wheel. The bearings in the stock wheel have about 2500 miles on them as I put them in new. The wheel with bearings ran about 560.00 plus shipping.

Its off an 06 Softail Std, FXST, 17x6x200mm

The pick below is the actual wheel on my bike taken recently. You can't see a lot but you can see how it looks.

First dibs for Tim (QT)

Hopefully the Blade Wheel gets here some time next week then I will need another week to get it in the shop. You're # 1 right now.

OK, I got the new wheel & I should get the bike in the shop by Wednesday so I'll have an idea what the chromed wheel looks like. I'm sure it's mint as it looks that way on the bike. QT has first dibs then NBM.

I took the bike & rim to the dealer yesterday (Tues). They should have the bearing kit there today so hopefully it will be finished by tomorrow. The old rim should have the bearings & spacers for an 06 FXST. As soon as I get the rim I'll post all the details.

OK, here's the bad news first. The bike is still in the shop as the bearing kit is back ordered for 2 weeks from HD so they asked if I wanted to let them keep the bike or I could pick it up & bring it back when the parts arrive. I asked the service rep to see if he could find the part at another local dealer & I would pick it up. So he called me back 30 minutes later & said that HD has the bearing kit on national dealer allocation but luckily they have a set that will ship to the dealer tomorrow or Tuesday. We are looking at the later part of next week to be installed if all goes well. Good news is that my old wheel has the kit for an 06 FXST & the bearings should be like new. Hold on guys, this will happen.
