Supertrapp Fishtail Exhaust System - Jet-Hot coated
Hello all,
I’m selling a Supertrapp 2-1 fishtail exhaust system (Supertrapp part #628-71570).
This exhaust is slightly unique because when I bought the exhaust system instead of shipping it to me I had it shipped straight to Jet-Hot Coatings. While at Jet-Hot I had them remove the chrome and then re-do the entire exhaust kit in their Extreme 1300 (satin black) coating. So on top of getting “blacked out” there should be some performance increase and enhanced rider heat protection from having everything ceramic coated.
This kit has been sitting in my basement for over a year just as I received it from Jet-Hot. The first and only time I opened it up was last week to take pictures of everything. I tried to take some pictures from varying angles to show how thorough Jet-Hot gets when they do stuff. I used to have a turbo mustang and had A LOT of my parts coated by them with great results, so when I wanted to get this exhaust done I knew where to send it.
I bought this kit and had it done up for what was going to be a very special 2008 softail Crossbones. I no longer have that bike (gone before I had a chance to install everything) so I just want to see somebody else rock this awesome setup. Please do your own research to ensure that the kit will fit your bike.
Seeing as this kit by itself cost around $1,000 and the Jet-Hot work cost about $700 the price is $900 plus shipping. I feel as if this is pretty fair considering all of the hard work, coordination/shipping things to multiple places, etc… is already done. I’m not trying to make money on this, if I can just get close to covering the cost of the system itself that is fine with me. Everything will be shipped to you just as I received it from Jet-Hot.
