Just putting out a feeler to see if anybody would be interested in a great deal on a Two Brothers Racing 005-5140199 HD Softail M8 2-1 Shorty Turnout Stainless Exhaust? I want to put a Two Brothers 2-1 on my 2014 Breakout. To do this I have to order a exhaust system to use the muffler from a M8 Softail and I have to order a second exhaust system to use the head pipes from a Twin Cam Touring. So I will have a set of head pipes left over from a 2018-2020 M8 Softail model and a muffler from a 2009-2016 Twin Cam Touring model. Basically, I will have a Two Brothers 005-5140199 system left over from the parts. I could let this system go for $575.00 including shipping anywhere in USA or Canada. what would the sale include for mounting brackets of the megaphone? Would i have to have custom brackets fabricated to mount up a older touring muffler to my 2018 plus softail frame?

 

When I talked to Two Brothers Racing about building a system for my bike they told me all their head pipes are 1-1/2" stepped to 1-3/4", so the muffler body would fit the head pipes. I can check with Two Brothers on Monday but I would think the
Turn Out Touring Muffler and the Turn Out Softail Muffler would have the same body and mounting. Guaranteed that neither mounting bracket for the 2018-2020 Softail or the mounting bracket for the 2009-2016 Touring will fit my bike so I could include them both in the system above. At worst, you might have to modify the mounting bracket a bit but you would have both brackets to work with.
