Default Solo Mustang Seat 79485 with Backrest

SOLD 17 1/2" wide, I bought this a few weeks ago and have never actually ridden with it, sat on it in the garage and it's too wide for me. Purchased from a bike shop that put a small cut (approx 1/4") when installing and I doubt it has ever actually been ridden.
According to Mustang Seats will fit:
Heritage Springer 2000-2003
Deluxe 2005-2015
Heritage Classic 2007-2015

Check closely for fitment.
The small cut has been repaired and is hardly visible. In the second picture it is to the right of the quarter. If you need more pictures just ask.
Other than the repaired cut it is in like new condition. This seat goes in the $460-$480 range this one is $325 plus shipping from 24019

Will consider trade for Mustang seat 79710 studded solo 14" wide with backrest

This is a great deal! BTW this solo can be converted to fit ALL standard-tire Softails 2000-2015, even the side-mounted ones, with our parts 78033 and 78034.

Interested in the seat. How well does the back rest work? Does it flex much if leaned back on?

I'll answer that for you, It's a great seat. And no the backrest doesn't flex much and is adjustable for lean back. (if that make sense)

mnccnm, the support bar for the backrest (vertical steel piece that fits into seat) is 1 1/2" X 1/8" and not sure that it gives any but if it does very little. Like you I need to stretch my back by leaning back and this ine does that just fine. I had a 2005 Heritage with this seat, different model for fit, and loved it but something changed in the bike or seat and can't use this one.

I run the same seat on my 2003 Heritage Softail. It's very comfortable and the backrest can be adjusted easily while riding, moving you either more laid back or straight up in the saddle depending on what level of comfort needed. I tend to have the backrest laid back during the day and then bring it forward toward night fall. Look at picture # 5 for the adjustment. This seat will sit you up just a very little bit higher over stock.
