I thought this was VIN locked to the bike once you use it. At least that what it says once you hook it up(did on my RG) If its not locked Im interested for sure

 

I did a search couldn't find anything saying the LCD version is locked. A lot about the new FP3 being locked. Others are selling used ones for other models so seems like they must be able to use them. Anyone know for sure??

 

Just read this on the V&H web site. How many motorcycles can I tune with my FP3?

Answer: Each bike you tune will require a different FP3. The FP3 will “marry” to your VIN when you flash a map to it the first time. After that, the FP3 will not be able to flash any other bike. You can still use it to read diagnostic trouble codes or display live data on any CAN bus equipped Harley.
