Looks great man! Nice choice. Those apes are the perfect fit for that bike.

Yes it does feel good, the stock bars made my back and hips hurt. The hip pain that I was blaming on the seat went away after the bar install

They look great.

Stupid question I thought these bars couldn't be adjusted (ie tilted forward or back)

Is that not the case?

Yes they can be adjusted. Simply loosen the riser bushing bolts, adjust forward or back as needed, then torque riser bolts to factory spec and they hold tight.

Great bars. here are the 13.5" ones on my Train. These are in the fully forward position.

I did a clean install, no buttons (Grip Ace) and fully internal everything else.

Totally agree, not a big fan of apes, but those look just right for that bike.

Very nice look. I read your thread before doing my install.
I can see where it would be a PITA to run the cables internal...dont see how you keep the throttle from binding

Did you get the "cup" that screws on top of the top triple tree nut to fit underneath the bars? Im looking at it now know and it looks impossible. Ive got the cup powdercoated so maybe the extra build up is making it tight?

You have a picture of what you're trying to do? I have no idea what you mean by "cup"
