Default Beach bars on a Deluxe

I'm going as nostalgic as possible on my '07 Deluxe. Planning on chroming the front end this fall and internalizing the black plastic covered control wires. Also thinking beach bars, but wondered if, in the opinion of most, that would mess up the nostalgic look? I've kept the windshield and still plan to use it. Any reason NOT to do beach bars?

Thanks Dan. I know these "opinion" things are always dicey, but from the pic of your bike, you appear to be a man after my own heart, and thus who I wanted to hear from. Nice ride.

I mounted Beach Bars years ago to achieve an "Old School" look on a Fatboy. I found them to be the best bars I've ever used. My arm, hand, and wrist position is perfect. I can ride all day without back, shoulder, or neck strain.

I like the look, and sometime soon, will be installing them on my Heritage.

Thanks for the replies. I agree after getting a look at them that they really add to the nostalgic look. Definitely the next upgrade coming.
