I have S&S 510's in my 02 Softail and that thing pulls like a mule. I can't see any reason other than a tight budget not to do it.

IS it worth it on a B Motor? I never really thought the B motors were hearty enough to build out with the addition of the counterbalancer and all.

You must be kidding? Why wouldn't it be worth it? The counter balancer doesn't make THAT much of a difference.

Cam(s) is about the first thing you do to just about any vehicle to make a HUGE hp improvement. Yes, they are worth it.

Cams punched Chuck Norris in the chest. Now he's got a cam chest.

Default Cams

I would say cams with a stage one setup would be a great improvement . Thing most people do first is the stage one exhaust and air flow I guess next would be cams then a big bore kit and heads to finish it off . There will definitely be a noticeable improvement in performance go for it I do not think you will be disappointed .

I'm having the Andrews 57H cams installed in my bike this week. I bit of advice I can offer, is if your having a dealer do the install, buy your own parts (cams, adjustable pushrods, bearing, gasket kit and other small misc) online and then get a quote from your installer for time only and bid/ quote it out. I'm saving a couple of hundred dollars by buying my parts online and not through the dealer.
