Thanks Bluraven, i'm buying...the seller has it up $1000 more than KBB.
But KBB says that price is based on if youre buying from a dealer not from Private-Party.
But that's a good starting point.

Kind of a sad but funny story . Last Friday afternoon I am at a local dealer looking at the 15,s . Young guy comes in looking to trade his 2013 Sportster . I see the same guy about an hour later outside and he is pissed as hell . I say find a new bike and he blows up big time . He tells me he has this Sportster a real cream puff as new but better and the dealer will not even take it in trade . So I just smile and nod until I see him going out of the lot . He painted all the dam chrome black and not in a good way wheels pipes mufflers handlebars anything chrome . it was sad .

Market prices vary by area - - A good check is Cycle Trader Mag. and Craigs List for your area - - as well as dealers in the area.
I would also check prices in smaller towns within 200 miles of where you are located.
My last purchase was from the owner in a town 175 miles from where I live. The asking price was almost $2000 below my area.
Bottom line is if you like the bike, just buy it at NADA price.
