Do the mirrors have 2 or 3 wires coming out of them?

1 hot wire out of the light. And 1ground on the stem

I'm no expert but in my thoughts you have a choice of running lights or signal lights not both. I would think you would need a ground a hot running light wire and a hot signal wire to have both running and signal lights. Sorry I can't be more helpfull.

Right. I have no interest in the running light side. Just need the turn signals to work

Looking at the instructions looks like the y splitter has a lump in the middle. May be a resistor? Can anyone confirm?

Checked the wiring today .. seems correct .. I guess my next step is a resistor .. anyone know what size ill need? gonna try to get it on the local economy

also checked my codes today .. says

B1101
B1151

still nothing on the front leds

Same resistances as your original front signal lights that you cut out of the system if I am reading this correct. Appears to meet standards, they also should still work. I sure would just add that back and forget the resistors. If by chance someone pulls out in front of you, the blame can easily be placed on you by a sharp lawyer. Just like speeding..
