Default Easiest way to get to rear O2 Connector?

Looking to put on a set of vieds on my 07 FLSTC. I know the rear O2 sensor is under the oil tank. Is there a easy way to get to the connection to install the vied other then removing the oil tank?

Like gedakbx said, you should be able reach it fairly easy. My 2011 was no problem

Actually, the connector on my 14 FLSTC was under the seat. The sensor itself is in the pipe under the oil tank

Yeah, 07 is probably the same. It was the same on my 2009 Fatboy, right under the oil tank, although I did have to do some fishing because the little snap connector was tucked in there real good.

I removed my seat, found the 02 wire and kept moving it until I could see it behind the tank. Once you locate it installing the vied is pretty easy.

This is the best method. There may be a plastic clip that holds harness to frame rail, this can be pulled off and you can see the connector along edge of right oil tank.

I was able to reach in from the exhaust side under the oil bag... it was easier to detach then re-attach...

i have a little "how to" in my build thread, along with some other good info and pics....
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-and-tips.html

How to swap out exhaust
  1. unplug o2 sensors from the connectors remember the cable routing (NEVER UNBOLT THEM PLUGGED IN). front O2 sensor under the front of the bike (easy to get to). Rear O2 sensor is a little harder, take off the seat mine was there behind the battery, but I also have an smaller battery (you may need to remove your stock battery to access this connector on a stock bike. It goes through a hole in the bottom of the battery pan.
  2. remove old exhaust
  3. install sensors on new exhaust (DONT FORGET ANTI-SIEZE for the O2 Sensor threads) &
  4. install exhaust
  5. re-run wire for connect o2 sensors plugs and reconnect
