Default new carb issue ?or not

i got my bike back today from the stealership, i got the 5 k service done and a 42 mil mikuni carb installed, i started riding the bike home ,35 milesto home got 5 miles noticed the choke was left on, so i turned it off, then at all stop lights and signs , it acted like it wanted to die on me, the idle was set to low !! but also once in awhile it was puking through the carb a lil , now keep in mind it was 29 degrees here , which i froze bike never got over 160 temp and the idle was set to low , could this cause it before i call them back ? because if i do call them back we gonna fight , they have messed up bike everytime its been there !!! today light scrathes all over bike , they rubbed most out , only in the clear but still makes me angry!!! i need a good place here in northern IL, but paint is a easy fix , would the cold and low idle make this puke a lil?

You can adjust the idle screw for a bit leaner run.

Best way to warm up a carbed harley is too:
1. Pull choke out all the way.
2. Start bike
3. wait a half min
4. push in choke half way
5. let it warm up *warm cylinders to the bare hand*
6. push choke all the way in
7. get on bike and ride.. while u waiting for bike to warm do a bike check.. )

I have an EFI bike now but I do miss my 01 dyna lowrider which had a carb (thunderslided kit)
I had the idle set so it would slow chug when just kicken it while it was idle(stopped)
It was a bad **** sound... miss that...

The slow idle would contribute to the problem, but I think the mixture is probably off as well.

you might have fouled the plugs running with the choke on that long. Make sure you have good plugs before you retune anything.
