Great Job!

Jeff,

I appreciate the sentiments, my friend. A work in progress for sure.

We all have our favorite "look", whether it's a kicked-out '60's chopper, or classic bagger, bobber, or whatever. Mine has always been the quintessential 1950'-60's Harley-Davidson "74", and nothing says Harley to me like the Heritage and the Deluxe.

Can't beat either one.

I chose the Heritage due to the need for a windshield and bags. Of course I did eventually changed the bags and seat. You can't go wrong with either, just depends on what "look" you like.
Without bags and black rims:

With bags and white walls:

I bought my Heritage before the Deluxe was out. Alot of the things I envisioned are on the Deluxe, However, I still probably would of bought the Heritage due to the bags and windshield.
I added whitewall and quick detach kit for bags. I can go from a 2 up bike with mustang seat to a stripped solo in less than 5 minutes.
I just bought a Ultra last year so the Heritage hasnt had the windshield or 2up seat on it for over a year now. Next is maybe rims and fishtails.
Bottom line is they are both great bikes that are alot alike. If you plan to ride two up for any distance the Heritage would be the best choice.+

I just took a look at a Deluxe at the dealer, that already has the bags and windshield. The sign on it said: "0.99% Financing!!".

Looked inside the bags, and they might hold a change of underwear and socks, and that's about it. When they have to fit above those stacked dual mufflers, they're pretty small.

Def leaning toward the Heritage.

You can put many different bags on the Deluxe.

Right, if you swap out the stock exhaust.
