I have seen the light...Auxiliary light...
So I have gone ahead and decided to upgrade to auxiliary lighting on my 2014 FLS/Slim. I have ordered the kit, lights, and different windscreen that is needed to accommodate the A-kit.
I know there have been threads with the install to the Slim specifically- could those who have installed point me to the right places as so I can easily and effectively install this myself (I'm good with tools, thanks to the United States Army...63B here!).
ALSO- wiring...any pitfalls, suggestions, tips, and/or tricks on wiring would be appreciated!!

I put aux lights on my '08 Fatboy, so none of what I say may apply. I purchased the HD Aux circuit wiring adaptor so I could power the lamps separate from the headlights (i.e. always on). The plug on my bike was under the tank and could JUST get to it by lifting up the tank instead of a complete tank removal.
I also purchased some stainless steel wire loom to protect the wire running up into the lamp housing (through the mounting bolt). I first toyed with drilling a hole in the back of the lamp housings, installing grommets and running the wire out the back in the loom by decided against it.

Several ways to wire it. I chose to install a relay. The lamps can be on all the time. I also installed a switch in the tins facing the tank - thats how a heritage is. Bought the switch from HD thinking its most likely water proof. I fished the wires under the tank. Loosend front and rear tank bolts, remove fuel line and fuel wire from under the tank and tank lifts right up. Im guessing slim is same. Good luck
btw- riding to Point Reyes today. 350+ miles. Get that bike goin and make that carbon foot print!! lol
