Default Good Buy or no?

I'm new to the forum and also a new Harley owner. I just picked up a 1994 Harley fatboy with 36k for mileage and paid 6k. I love riding the bike and couldn't be happier but still wondering if its a good buy or no? Only took the one pic so far, not very good but will take more tomorrow.

I think when you are talking about a 20 year old Harley, condition is key to determining the price.

However, since you paid $6K for it, does it really matter what anyone else thinks?
Obviously it was worth it to you and that's all that matters.

Now it's time to just enjoy being a Harley owner.
Most of us spend a lot more than $6K in order to say that.

If it's in good working order and you're happy with it, it was a great deal.

That's a nice lookin FatBoy. Congrats on the new ride.

Funny thing about bikes, and us people that talk about bikes...especially Harleys. There's always gonna be somebody that tells you could've gotten a better deal somewhere, from a guy they know or an ad they saw. You'll tell them you paid $6K, they'll tell you "You shoulda offered $5K". That's just the way it is.

You're the only one that will tell, in time, if it was a good buy or not. If you dig it, then it was. Simple as that.

Once you get your knees in the breeze, you won't care what anyone else thinks

Oh yeah, and Welcome to the site

Congrats on your new ride! No point in asking if it was a good deal now. The deal is already done. Don't worry about what you cannot change! Just enjoy the ride!!!

no matter what you buy...there will always be someone who knows someone who knows a manager somewhere that could have gotten you a better deal. I've learned not to ask for validation on the price of something I bought because there are enough envious folks out there that will ALWAYS tell you that you over paid.

That's a nice looking bike, and as was mentioned before...if it's running and you like it...you got a deal. Just enjoy the hell out of it.

Like others have said, at this point if you are happy it was a good deal. Now, down where the rubber meets the road, only time and miles will tell how good a deal it was. In the meantime enjoy the ell' out of it.

By the way, from the photo it looks good.
