Only a month or two, so I'm not sure yet. I cleaned the fender with alcohol and used the adhesion promoter prior to installing them. I clamped it on for the night and so far so good.

They are plenty bright, but I don't think they are large enough to be used alone. I prefer to run mine as a augment to my turn signals, since Slims don't come with a regular rear brake light.
Mine does run/break/turn and came from Custom Dynamics. I used a Custom Dynamics mounting stick to mount mine, along with 3M adhesive. It has held up fine over the last year. We don't get much humidity or rain here in L.A. though.

Most of the trim on any modern cars/trucks is just held on by some form of 3M adhesive or similar stuff, as are most of the tank emblems we all have on our bikes. It's designed for the purpose. Once in a while, trim comes loose, but generally, it lasts for years, maybe decades. I'd think you'd all be just fine with the LEDs under your fender, if it's prepped correctly.
