Default RE: Long term report on Denim paint

Well, one year later I can give my own report. The tank and rear fender are fine, but the front fender has started developing a whitish haze around the edges--real noticeable in one spot on the front of the fender. It sort of looks like I was riding on salted roads, but I didn't. I'm thinking about spraying it with some flat black, but I will show it to my paint expert first for second opinion. I also notice rough spots in the paint on the front fender (you can feel the rough places with your finger). I think this may be the result of poor paint prep at Harley. When I change to a wider tire in front, I'll replace the front fender anyway.

I love the look and low maintenance, but when something does get scratched or faded.....there is no easy fix.
