Default Softail Slim. Which seat to order.

So I want to order a new seat for my 14 Slim and can't make up my mind. I'm mainly looking at the Corbin Gunfighter and the La Pera Bare Bones. So any opi ions or advice from ny one that's run either or both seats? Any other options, non springer seats, that I should be considering? Thx.

I've been using the Bare Bones for a while now and it is great. You wouldn't think it would be comfortable by looking at it, but it is very comfortable and supportive. I just got done doing a 600 mile weekend trip and I have no complaints about the seat.

How much was your blackline seat? I've been thinking of the same thing to do... But I love the look of the solo spring seats with a passenger pillon seat

I have a Blackline not a slim, but I went with a Mustang Wide tripper, and its amazing. I also have the passenger seat for my wife and she can actually ride for more than an hour now without her *** killing her. lol

I also have the Mustang Wide Tripper. Very comfortable seat. I have owned a Corbin Gunfighter on another Softail. It was a decent seat but I prefer the Mustang. Seats are such a personal opinion thing it is sorta hard to give advice. What I like you might not.

Mustang Seat Wide Tripper Solo after a short break in period
keeps me on in comfort for longer periods of time.

I've had a Mustang Seat on my other 3 HD's I've owned, great seats.

Have you ever considered taking your seat to a custom upholsterer and getting exactly what you want and need? I did, best thing I ever did. I seen guys buy 2, 3 and 4 seats trying to get it right. I got what I wanted, the padding I wanted, the cover I wanted, the colors I wanted and 1st time out too. If you consider it I strongly suggest the Gelfoam, not gel inserts. Cost me about the same.

There are several threads started on seats. I started one a while back Custom seats/seat ****. Some nice seats there.
