Default Switching to full synthetic

I have a 2007 FLSTC has 55,000 miles. Would it hurt to switch to full synthetic after so many miles?

I know few will agree with this but dino oil and syn oil does not mix well. I would suggest a 100% clean oil change when you go to syn. The tranny and primary can be completely drained but there will be close to a quart of old dirty dino left behind when switching. I bought and use the "Scavenger" but I have seen on here where guys have made and use their own. If you are unaware of what I am talking about google it.

All can save jumping me, I bought one, use one and believe in it. I am aware of all the opposition and that "it has been done the old fashioned way" for years too. Technological advances are OK though. When I go to see my nephew in California, I don't go by wagon train anymore either!

From all that I've read, switch all you want. Just moved two of my cars from synthetic to high milage oil.

You will have a few ounces of dino left when you drain your oil which will mix with no problem with the synthetic. Your engine will thank you for switching.

Understanding syntec lots of articles. Syntec has all the same molecular size verses organic that can vary. As above change oil as breaking in a new engine.
